In the drought-prone villages of Pudukkottai, women farmers are transforming their lives and their environment. For over 30 years, ROSE has partnered with rural women to build sustainable livelihoods through organic farming, water conservation, agroforestry, and farmer-owned enterprises.

Twelve-year-old Lakshmi is curious about the world but has never seen a science lab. Through the Girls-Centered Rural STEM & Environmental Innovation Program, ROSE brings hands-on science to life across 50 learning centers in 68 villages — using nature itself as the classroom.
